How To Handle Digital Evidence ..(*Without getting burnt)
A FREE 1 hour seminar for you and your colleagues held at your offices
CY4OR is offering a unique educational session on this rapidly advancing area of forensics. 8
out of 10 criminal cases will contain digital evidence in the form of computers, mobile phones
or visual media. Incorrect handling of this volatile form of evidence can make it inadmissible in
court and the case could breach the Association of Chief Police Officer Guidelines.
Forensic Demonstration
To illustrate the capabilities of forensic technologies, there will be a live analysis of a lap top
simulating a computer based crime. Carried out by a Senior Forensic Investigator we will
present an audit trail of recent computer use and the footprints which are left proving whether
or not misuse has taken place. The demonstration will identify whether or not there is a case
to answer.
To avoid 'death by PowerPoint' the seminar will follow a case study format, mirroring a recent
case that CY4OR has investigated.
